Pastors who attend the Summit on Abuse on Sept. 11, 2017, will be eligible to receive .5 units of continuing education credit, according to Keith Bowman of Adventist Learning Community (ALC). To receive credit, pastors can log into their ALC account and select the event “Pastors’ Summit on Abuse” from the available options.

Southwestern Adventist University’s annual dig for dinosaur bones in northeastern Wyoming commenced on June 1 and will run through the month. Art Chadwick, Southwestern research professor, with the support of other professors from Southwestern, Loma Linda University, and Southern Adventist University, has led the project since he started it in 1996.

In Riverside, California, Loma Linda University Health General Counsel Kent Hansen, an attorney and La Sierra University alum, was honored during La Sierra’s commencement on June 18 for his significant impact and dedication throughout years of service to Seventh-day Adventist higher education.
