With interconnectedness at many administrative levels, the North American Division was not viewed as its own entity before 1985. Just a bit more than three decades later, the separation of the two entities has taken a big, physical step forward as the NAD moves into its own headquarters in Columbia, Maryland, in September.

The following is a voted statement by the Hispanic Advisory of the North American Division, calling for compassion toward immigrants.

The foundational impetus behind the North American Division’s iBelieve Bible Study is to witness to young people where they are, which is in the digital realm. The iBelieve Bible Study is a free online curriculum designed to strengthen the faith of youth and young adults in and outside the Seventh-day Adventist Church.

A bear attack took place about 4 a.m. on July 9, 2017, on center campus lakefront at Glacier View Ranch (GVR) in Boulder County, Colorado. The incident involved Dylan, who preferred to be identified by first name only, a staff member.

A groundbreaking ceremony for the new It Is Written ministry headquarters was held on July 10, 2017. More than 300 attended the event that took place in Collegedale, Tennessee.
