Talbot was presented this honorary award at the Association of Adventist Women banquet on October 12, 2024. Talbot was recognized for her commitment to sharing Jesus through her preaching, writing, and visual ministry.

Report on 2024 Consolidated Enrollment

The Association of Adventist Colleges and Universities (AACU), comprised of the presidents and other top leaders from 13 Adventist colleges and universities in North America, has determined that the latest consolidated fall enrollment numbers for all 13 institutions totals 20,828 students. This increase of 256 students from the previous year marks the second consecutive year of total growth.

Oakwood University Church Hosts Water Bottle Donation Drive for Texas, Delivers Truckful of Supplies

In response to the recent Texas winter weather disaster, the Oakwood University Church (OUC)  and Breath of Live (BOL) Television Ministry conducted a “water drive,” collecting more than 30,000 bottles of water as well as other essential items including socks, undergarments, gently-used clothing, feminine products, and cleaning supplies. The items traveled by truck on Feb. 22, 2021, from Huntsville, Alabama, to the Houston, Texas area.

Adventist Karen People in North America Gather Online to Pray During Political Turmoil in Myanmar

From February 7-13, 2021, Jimmy Shwe, a pastor and coordinator of the Karen Seventh-day Adventist Church outreach under the Adventist Refugee and Immigrant Ministries in North America, guided the division’s more than 50 Karen congregations in a virtual, bilingual week of “United Prayer.”
