A new short film, How Many Stars, from The John 10:10 Project, helps us to understand God’s extravagance when He promised to multiply Abraham’s descendants as the stars, as well as Abraham’s faith in believing God before he had any children. How Many Stars masterfully helps even those who are math-challenged to grasp something of the scale represented by numbers made up with many zeros.

The Oakwood University Church, in conjunction with Breath of Life Television Ministries, will honor James Shaw, Jr. on Saturday, April 28, 2018 at 11 a.m. Shaw, the Nashville, Tennessee, resident who disarmed a gunman, attended F.H. Jenkins Preparatory School (an elementary school that is part of the South Central Conference) in Nashville for several years.

The next "Is This Thing On?" NAD Facebook live event will be held at 4 p.m. (PDT) on May 12 at Walla Walla University. On Jan. 17, 2018, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit issued a decision in favor of Richard Tabura and Guadalupe Diaz, former employees of Kellogg USA, who were terminated in 2012 for violating the company’s policy mandating work on Saturdays (the day Tabura and Diaz observed as their Sabbath).
