To spiritually strengthen and support every ministry, pastor, and administrator at every level of the church by fusing the three fundamental elements of mission—prayer, Bible study, and ministry.

How we serve

Provide prayer training for small groups to support evangelism, pastoral ministry and education
Host Teen Prayer Conferences in Seventh-day Adventist® colleges and universities
Link with Women’s Ministries and others to provide support and resources
Provide resources to train prayer leaders in local churches
Conduct training events for pastors, churches, and conference prayer coordinators
Partner with US National Prayer Day Committee
Cooperate with Denominational Prayer Leaders Network

Oakwood University President to Take on New Role at the North American Division

On Monday, Oct. 21, 2024, the Oakwood University Board of Trustees announced that Leslie N. Pollard, Ph.D., has accepted a new position with the North America Division. In a statement, Oakwood University shared that Pollard has accepted a new opportunity to join the North American Division (NAD) as assistant to the president for pastoral continuing education and mission, commencing July 1.

International Pathfinder Camporee Announces Decision to End Nighttime Program a Day Early Due to Weather-Related Concerns

On Thursday evening, Aug. 8, 2024, the decision was made to conclude the International Pathfinder Camporee (IPC) earlier than expected. Camporee leadership published an announcement in the early morning hours on Aug. 9, after announcing the decision to attendees the previously night after the nighttime program.

Storm Interrupts International Pathfinder Camporee, Displaces Some Campers

The 2024 International Pathfinder Camporee (IPC) at the CAM-PLEX Multi-Event Facilities canceled its Tuesday night program due to thunderstorms that brought heavy rains and lightning. Shortly before 6 p.m. MT on August 6, campers were evacuated from tents and moved inside buildings for shelter from the storm, which produced strong wind gusts.
