It’s been 10 years since conference and union presidents, executive secretaries, and treasurers gathered in one room to brainstorm how best to carry out the church’s mission in North America. A long-awaited follow-up, the 2024 administrators’ conference hosted more than 200 conference and union officers at the NAD’s headquarters on Oct. 30-31.

Community service, fellowship, and training sessions made up the spouses’ meetings during this year’s NAD Year-End Meetings, with roughly 50 spouses of conference leaders in attendance.
Report on 2024 Consolidated Enrollment
The Association of Adventist Colleges and Universities (AACU), comprised of the presidents and other top leaders from 13 Adventist colleges and universities in North America, has determined that the latest consolidated fall enrollment numbers for all 13 institutions totals 20,828 students. This increase of 256 students from the previous year marks the second consecutive year of total growth.
College Press Donates Printing Press to Source of Life, a Euro-Asia Division Publishing House
In the fall of 2019, College Press owners Brad Fisher and Rob Howell had the opportunity to acquire another small print company, which included a fairly new printing press. After much discussion and prayer, it was decided to donate the older printing press that College Press had owned for more than 20 years. The press found its way to the Euro-Asian Division.
Sonscreen Film Festival Returns to In-Person Event After Two Years, Features “Encounters” World Premiere
April 7-9, 2022, will mark will the first in-person Sonscreen Film Festival since 2019. Students from colleges around the North American Division will gather at the newly completed Loma Linda University Church complex in California for three days of film screenings, educational opportunities, and professional connections.
Jorge Ramirez Named North American Division Undersecretary
On March 10, 2022, the North American Division committee elected Jorge Ramirez for the position of division undersecretary. Ramirez replaces Elden Ramirez, who took a call to serve as executive secretary of the Lake Union this past fall.
Connecting the Pastoral “Family”
Pastors of the NAD are looking forward to the CALLED Pastors’ Family Convention to be held in Lexington, Kentucky, on June 19-22. This convention offers some of the best continuing education opportunities, with six arena sessions and 120 seminars. Specific tracks will be offered for Spanish-speaking pastors, volunteer lay pastors, chaplains, ministry tech lab, and spouses.
