On Saturday, September 16, 2023, Alfredo Campechano, a long-time editor at Pacific Press Publishing Association, passed to his rest. He was 69.
“The Pacific Press family lost a friend and colleague in the passing of Alfredo Campechano,” shared a Pacific Press representative. “Alfredo will be sorely missed for his Christlike temperament, his wonderful personality, and his extraordinary talents as an editor, writer and poet. We look forward to the day when we will reunite with Alfredo and others who dedicated their lives to the ministry of Pacific Press.”
Campechano served as assistant editor in the international area of product development, and served Pacific Press for 18 years combined before and after 8 years of pastoring in the Nevada-Utah and Upper Columbia conferences.
“A leader and friend of Hispanic Ministries throughout North America and beyond, Pastor Alfredo Campechano will be greatly missed,” said Minner Labrador Jr., NAD vice president for Multilingual Ministries. “He was a dedicated servant of the Lord; and we look forward to the day when we will reunite with Alfredo.”
