Charting a New Path: 2024 Administrators’ Conference Unites Leaders to Shape the Future of the Church in North America
It’s been 10 years since conference and union presidents, executive secretaries, and treasurers gathered in one room to brainstorm how best to carry out the church’s mission in North America. A long-awaited follow-up, the 2024 administrators’ conference hosted more than 200 conference and union officers at the NAD’s headquarters on Oct. 30-31.
50 Ministerial Spouses Unite for Community Service, Fellowship, and Training During the 2024 NAD Year-End Meeting
Community service, fellowship, and training sessions made up the spouses’ meetings during this year’s NAD Year-End Meetings, with roughly 50 spouses of conference leaders in attendance.
Report on 2024 Consolidated Enrollment
The Association of Adventist Colleges and Universities (AACU), comprised of the presidents and other top leaders from 13 Adventist colleges and universities in North America, has determined that the latest consolidated fall enrollment numbers for all 13 institutions totals 20,828 students. This increase of 256 students from the previous year marks the second consecutive year of total growth.
“Built for this Moment”
At the North American Division (NAD) headquarters in Columbia, Maryland, the 2022 NAD Year-End Meeting started at 3 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 27. This annual business meeting, which has returned to an in-person event, with livestreaming on the NAD website and various other social media platforms, will provide the opportunity for 300 executive committee members to receive reports, amend policies, strategize, and fellowship with church leaders who have dedicated themselves to sharing with others Christ and the Adventist faith.

The Legacy of Communication
There is a rare electricity within a room of like-minded individuals. With the common goal of uplifting the gospel through communication, professionals and college/university students in the field were able to meet, network, learn, and worship on October 13-15. For three days, nearly 210 believers of all ages and demographics congregated at the North American Division Offices in Columbia, Maryland, to attend the conference in person, with even more participating online through a virtual content pass.

Working for Jesus is exciting work! For the past year I have had the wonderful privilege of supporting the media and media-related ministries of the North American Division. Each of these ministries plays a pivotal role in helping people to come to know Jesus as their Lord and Savior.
