It’s been 10 years since conference and union presidents, executive secretaries, and treasurers gathered in one room to brainstorm how best to carry out the church’s mission in North America. A long-awaited follow-up, the 2024 administrators’ conference hosted more than 200 conference and union officers at the NAD’s headquarters on Oct. 30-31.

Report on 2024 Consolidated Enrollment
The Association of Adventist Colleges and Universities (AACU), comprised of the presidents and other top leaders from 13 Adventist colleges and universities in North America, has determined that the latest consolidated fall enrollment numbers for all 13 institutions totals 20,828 students. This increase of 256 students from the previous year marks the second consecutive year of total growth.
Hundreds Baptized After Combined Evangelism Emphasis in the Dominican Republic
More than 600 people were baptized at the completion of a nine-day evangelism series that took place around the Southeast Dominican Conference in the Dominican Republic as a result of an ongoing partnership between the Atlantic Union Conference and the Dominican Union Conference. Twenty-five pastors fanned out across the territory conducting the series at various locations under the theme “Rescue of Love.”
Pacific Union College Awarded Half Million Dollar Grant to Expand Nursing Training
The Pacific Union College School of Nursing has received a $540,000 grant from California’s Department of Healthcare Access and Information (HCAI), funding that will help address the statewide nursing shortage by expanding training opportunities.
Union College Launching Three New Graduate Programs
Union College is significantly expanding its graduate offerings with three new master’s degrees. Two of the new degrees, a Master of Public Health and a Master of Science in Leadership, will begin in August 2023, while the Master of Occupational Therapy Program will launch in 2024.
Walla Walla University’s Center for Humanitarian Engagement Launches Tool Library for the Community
