CoLab INC and Good to Go Media Present Media Conference

The Sonscreen Film Festival is pleased to announce a new media workshop for Adventist filmmakers by our friends at Good to Go Media and CoLab INC. Organizers state that the conference is “a perfect complement to Sonscreen, geared to more advanced filmmakers who want to learn how to finance and distribute their film projects.”

“We have really appreciated our relationship with Good to Go Media for the last four years,” said Julio Muñoz, Sonscreen Film Festival director. “They have been one of our loyal sponsors and helped make many of our young filmmaker’s projects a reality. We are so excited about this conference and the tremendous resource it will be for creative entrepreneurs.”

CoLab INC is a new educational cohort designed to foster a connection between established business and film leaders and aspiring entrepreneurs and filmmakers. This film and media conference is a media workshop for Adventist filmmakers, animators, writers, and all other media professionals. Topics will focus on financing, legal guidelines, distribution, and more. This two-day conference will be held at The Walk in Redlands, California, on September 8-9, 2019. 

“The goal of the event is to empower young adult Adventist media professionals to become better business leaders within their industry.” said Tanya Musgrave, creative director at Good to Go Media. 

The media conference will feature speakers who have been involved with projects from Disney, Warner Brothers, Sony, and more to help Adventist artists develop and grow professionally. Sessions include keynotes, panels, as well as workshops. 

This two-day conference will end with a pitch event, giving away $35,000 in cash prizes. Participants can submit their brief presentation before the event, and the seven finalists will be able to present at the end of the conference to win funding for their project. To submit a pitch deck, participants will need to purchase a ticket.
