Leah Jordache
Ernest Hernandez serves as the Director for the Office of Volunteer Ministries. His duties include oversight for the office, visioning, policy review, strategic planning, and ensuring the implementation of Adventist volunteer screening, best practices, and protocols. Our goal is to engage as many qualified volunteers from our University campuses and nonstudent populations eager to engage and support outreach ministries within North America and the world, for “the harvest truly is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest.” Matthew 9:37-38 (NKJV)."
"Leah Jordache has served as a pastor, leader, educator, and mentor in the Adventist community for over 25 years. As a life-long learner, Leah is passionate about fostering authentic connections with God and helping others discover their purpose and calling. Her mission is to inspire people to become centers of influence for God's Kingdom in their communities and in the world. She looks forward to helping to create meaningful service opportunities that are both meeting the greatest needs within communities while ensuring that volunteers find a deep sense of purpose and calling in their work. As Associate Director, Leah cultivates partnerships with ministry leaders to develop and sustain volunteer mission service opportunities across the North American Division. She also works with the OVM team to promote these opportunities, recruit volunteers, create training resources, and increase awareness and vision for the services and support available to both volunteers and ministry partners.
