Erica Smith
Erica Smith serves as the Assistant Director of Women’s Ministries for the North American Division of Seventh-day Adventists. She received her master’s degree in professional counseling from Liberty University.
Erica is passionate about reaching young women with the message that they are “loved and seen” and offers free, confidential mentoring via the department’s ‘gorgeous2god’ platform. Erica also manages the Division’s abuse prevention and response initiative, “enditnow,” through which she and her team have trained nearly 100 advocates to date from across the country and Canada. Their most recent project was the first-of-its-kind manual for addressing abuse in faith-communities entitled, “Safeguarding Peace.”
Erica lives in Maryland with her husband, Gavin, where she also co-manages an animal rescue and spends time with her own pets, Boots, Max, and Lily.
