The North Pacific Union summer ministerial internship is a wonderful opportunity for Walla Walla University (WWU) theology and religious studies majors interested in pastoral ministry. Through this 10-week program, students earn full-time practical experience under the mentorship of skilled North Pacific Union Conference (NPUC) pastors, strengthening their understanding of what pastoral careers look like.
Andrews University Receives Major Grant from Lilly Endowment Inc.
Andrews University has received a grant of $6,326,735 from Lilly Endowment Inc. through its Ministry in Rural Areas and Small Towns Initiative. Southern Adventist University students, employees, donors, and community members joined together on February 24, 2023, to dedicate land for a new building to house the School of Business. Heather Thompson Day and Seth Day, both communication professors at AndrewsUniversity, recently published “I’ll See You Tomorrow,” a book about relationships. The idea for “I’ll See You Tomorrow” first emerged as they watched “The Last Dance,” the 2020 Netflix documentary series about Michael Jordan.
eHuddle Offers Innovative Methods for Sharing Christ
From February 13-15, 2023, at the eighth annual eHuddle, a visioning and leadership conference hosted in Gladstone, Oregon, by the North American Division’s (NAD) Ministerial department, attendees learned of several initiatives uniting the church and community. More than 150 pastors, conference- and union-level evangelism directors, administrators, elders, and other leaders gathered for the first in-person eHuddle since 2020, with thousands more watching via Facebook and YouTube.
