On August 14, 2021, celebrate Christian Record Services with a special offering.
Christian Record Services for the Blind, headquartered in Lincoln, Nebraska, has nearly 18,000 members throughout the United States and in countries around the world. Membership and services are free to anyone who is legally blind.
Our mission is to empower people who are blind to engage their communities and embrace the Blessed Hope.
Free services and programs include:
- Free Bibles in large print, braille, and audio formats
- Correspondence Bible School, offering lessons in large print and braille
- Naomi Chapman Turner Library, which maintains more than 2,000 resources, in large print, braille, and audio formats, many of which can be accessed by mail or online
- Books and magazines in audio, braille, and large print, including the Adult Sabbath School Bible Study Guide
- National Camps for Blind Children, operating in partnership with Adventist camp locations across the United States
- PhoneFaith, offering daily dial-in presentations that strive to inform, encourage, and inspire the mind and body, created by and for individuals who are blind
- Anne Lowe Scholarships selected annually from a pool of qualified undergraduate students

Ray McAllister, Ph.D., is a Seventh-day Adventist author and scholar shares his experiences as a blind man with love and humor. He encourages churches to accept people with all types of disabilities.
