Adventist Information Ministry

Adventist Information Ministry (AIM) operates under the direction of the North American Division of Seventh-day Adventists®. AIM is located on the campus of Andrews University and employs Christian students as Customer Service Representatives (CSRs) caring for contacts. Seminarians, studying to be ministers of the gospel, function as chaplains offering spiritual care. in 2024 AIM added a campus at Walla Walla University.

As a 24/7 ministry, AIM is the central contact center for Seventh-day Adventist® media outreach in North America. We assist the church’s evangelistic outreach by taking orders, processing requests for literature, upgrading interested persons for further studies and by referring these interests to local churches. We also assist in building relationship through outbound endeavors as well as offering the opportunity to support various evangelistic outreach agencies through donations.

Adventist Connect, currently managed by Adventist Information Ministry, is a free website platform provided to every church and school in the North American Division. It offers modern, easy-to-use tools to enhance digital ministry and strengthen community engagement.

Adventist Connect is a dynamic, free website platform designed to empower every Adventist church and school within the North American Division to thrive in the digital space. Built on WordPress and hosted on the secure NAD Cloud, Adventist Connect offers a range of customizable features tailored to meet the diverse needs of congregations and schools.

We provide two types of websites to ensure flexibility: Basic sites, automatically generated using data from eAdventist for churches and schools that may not have the resources or time to manage a full-featured site, and Advanced sites for those looking for greater customization, control, and advanced tools.

Our team offers comprehensive support, training resources, and ongoing technical assistance to ensure your digital presence remains effective and engaging. Today, it serves as the division’s epicenter for connecting broadcast and social media interests with local churches through phone and online platforms. The success of AIM’s recent digital evangelism efforts, namely working with churches to run social media ads for prayer, has necessitated a larger workforce.

Adventist Information Ministry's New Suicide Prevention Course a Lifeline for Callers

When Mari Bowerman began working at Adventist Information Ministry (AIM) as operations supervisor a year ago, she noticed they were receiving “quite a bit of calls” from people struggling with depression. Recently, AIM director Brent Hardinge took a critical step toward meeting interests’ wholistic needs by appointing Marshall McKenzie as assistant director for pastoral care. Keying in on the mental health aspect, Bowerman sought out training so AIM staff could better respond to callers exhibiting signs of depression and high risk of suicide.

Adventist Information Ministries Expands Reach With New Assistant Director for Pastoral Care

AIM recently appointed Marshall McKenzie as assistant director for pastoral care. His primary responsibility will be training and mentoring AIM’s referral chaplains, who develop interests in different regions, and digital evangelism specialists, who engage with social media contacts. McKenzie will also ensure that contacts coming through AIM are offered an opportunity for pastoral care. This move underscores AIM’s focus on providing contacts to the local church and serving as a bridge between digital and traditional media and the local church.
