As we celebrate our accomplishments, we see clearly that there is much more that can be done to help communities in crisis. These opportunities present special challenges for us.

To do more we will need to increase our partnerships with other organizations that share our mission.

We will need more professional leaders, more volunteers, more financial and in-kind resources.

As the needs of people become increasingly more complex we will need to adapt our helping strategies.

As institutional poverty continues, we will need to find a better balance between social services that meet the immediate need and development which increases the capacity of people to meet their own needs

To fight the root causes of poverty and pain, we will need to address systems and attitudes that precipitate a widening socioeconomic gap.

These challenges must be addressed to improve our services and maintain the relevance of our story.
